On Track Injury Consulting's (OTIC) training programs encourage a healthy attitude of involvement, ownership and team participation.

This two day introductory course will give an overview of the Workers Compensation system & an introduction to injury management. With greater understanding supervisors and managers can effect cultural change.

Formal and informal training packages are available for supervisors and management on changing the culture in the workplace around workers compensation.
This includes:
- pro-active reporting and follow up of incidents and injuries
- worker support during rehabilitation
- how to reduce Lost Time Injuries (LTI’s)
- how to reduce the amount of lost time, and thus the associated costs

ergonomic training
As ergonomic awareness increases within the workplace it has highlighted the importance for ergonomic education of staff to take place. Ergonomic education assists companies in carrying out their duty of care for their workers as well as reducing the likelihood of a workers compensation claim being lodged.
manual handling
OTIC offers manual handling packages which are presented in small groups focusing on your industrial environment and specific manual handling needs. Correct manual handling will greatly reduce the number and severity of incidents and injury at your workplace. Education and awareness of muscularskeletal function in workers builds an understanding and greater participation in safety at work.
pre-employment medical assessment
Pre-empoyment medical assessments are designed to assess the physical ability of the person to perform the proposed role. Assessments will seek to identify medical conditions that may be adversely affected by the proposed role and allow you to manage that risk.
Physiotherapy assessments can also be carried out as part of the screening.
Hearing and drug/alcohol testing is also available. |
